The Grave Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – some of which involve some against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021. One deputy chief prosecutor said, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” Scope of the Police Inquiry These allegations come after what police described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley. Spencer is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th. Breakdown of Offences Prosecutors outline the forty-five charges comprise: 15 counts of sexual assault. 17 counts of penetrative assault. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration. 1 count of attempted penetrative assault. Police are urging anyone with concerns to contact the investigating team.
