The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to players developing firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive designs that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly easy to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems very similar to a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for often becoming absorbed in their feelings. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their good time.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the zodiac? Besides the fact that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Fans couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo brings to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is strongly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through pure hatred and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Archer personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol
